Black moissanite on yellow gold. The contrast is immediate, deep black stones against warm gold prongs, a combination that reads differently from the standard white-metal black bracelet that every other brand runs.
3mm round cut, D color, VVS1 clarity, 0.1ct per stone. Individual prong setting in 925 sterling silver with 18k yellow gold plating. GRA certified, passes diamond tester. Hardness at 9.25 on the Mohs scale.
The yellow gold base changes the temperature of the whole piece. Where black moissanite on white gold reads cold and precise, black on yellow gold reads warmer closer to vintage, without being literal about it.

Our pieces start with 925 sterling silver, not brass, and use 2.5 micron plating, thick enough that it holds its color instead of exposing the metal underneath.
Honestly, most of it comes down to thickness, and most brands don't disclose it. Anything under about 1 micron is closer to gold-colored paint, it wears off in weeks.
